Todd Sheehan
Todd Sheehan
The turning point in Todd Sheehan’s life came as Todd says,  “Death was made very real to me, as I held someone very close to me, dead of an overdose of heroin and cocaine. That night we had been talking about changing our lives, and we decided that tomorrow was a good place to start. Tomorrow we would make a change. Tomorrow we would seek help. The tragic reality is that we put things off until tomorrow and tomorrow never comes.” Todd tried a secular rehab, but two months later he was back where he started - in the same bedroom where that special life was lost.  Hopeless and helpless, for the first time in his life, he cried out to God. The next day, his mother told him about a new Teen Challenge center that had opened in their hometown. Todd graduated in 2005, and plans to become a minister. “My faith is no longer in a bag of dope or a bottle of pills,” he says. “My faith is in God.”
